There is a draw back in this choice, in that for much of the time, up to level 18, your BAB is actually worse than a straight wizard. Its not always as powerful as a straight wizard, but is far tougher, flexible and overall more capable in combat and social situations (persuade and listen are also class skills for PM and Monks).
This gives you evasion, cleave, +4 dodge a/c via tumble skill (plus more with a high wisdom and from a single level of PM), spells as a level 14/15 wizard (caster level/spells known), up to 20 more hitpoints than a straight wizard, move silient/hide rank 23, and 3 basic attacks per round compared with a straight L20 Wizard. Personally I would go mainly wizard for 14 of your first 16 levels, a single level of PM immediately after you can cast L2 wiz spells, and a single level of Monk at level 1, 2, 7 or 12 (level 1 for additional skill points, other levels for tumble a/c bonuses, then a second level of PM and 3 more levels of Monk levels 17-20.
